Who here knows about the trick where you drop 3 coins onto a glass table, and one of them goes through the glass and into your hand underneath the table? I don't know what you need to create this effect. I watched a video for the "Butter coin" and they did this, but I don't know what that coin relates to this trick.

I have a Butter Coin and yes tht effect is in there.
There are some other effects you can use it for, but that visible coin-thru is the best one. I just use the gimmick for other stuff I cam up with. --Chris

I agree, the Butter Coin is incredible when used to perform signed coin thru glass table. It's very visual and shocking.
A magician isn't defined by how many tricks he knows, but how well he has mastered them!

David Roth performs this on one of his videos, but I forget which one. It has been so long since I viewed it.

What is the difference between the butter coin and a folder?

Jonathan,
Supposedly, the Butter Coin is a flipper, a rub-away (whatever that is), and a folding coin all rolled into one. BTW - for anyone that has a Butter Coin. Will it fit into an expanded shell? Best

I've got a folder and a flipper, does anyone have any opinion as to whether the butter coin really adds anything else? I'm guessing it reduces to the geometry of the cuts.
