Some time ago I came across a page identical to Google.com. It was created exclusively as an effect by a internet mentalist. He actually called it "Bondoogle" or something along those lines.
Here's how it went. The mentalist would ask a spectator to think of anything, anything at all. Say they thought of "Dog". He would then say " Check out this cool new feature Google have installed..." The mentalist would proceed to type " What is John (spectator's name) thinking?" and hit image search. The results display many pictures of a dog!!! Spectators are completely fried!!! And I mean fried! Sadly it has been a long time since I have used the effect and have since lost the url. I am not posting the secret straight away... I want to see the theories you guys come up with!. Thoughts please. I am still desperately trying to find the site. Will update soon.

Update: Bondoogle works now as a card trick only. Still extremely effective. Jim Bumgardener is a genius! Make sure to check out his site which Thomas mentions above.

It's great isn't it?
I'm almost sorry to see this one rise to the top of the forum again, I came across it here last year. At the moment it only works for an image search (but you can do way more than cards). Corona |

This is great stuff!
There is a screen saver that does something similar on his site, I went to download it but got some security warnings about it being an exe without a valid signature. Has anyone had any experience with this, how safe is it? Cheers |

Billy James,
I downloaded MetaScope months ago. There is no damage on my computer. It works nicely, though I've never used it because of the language. Why should I type the question in English for a Hungarian spectator? In spite of this, I think it's an amazing effect. Regards, Gábor

Oh, yes, I got this one a few months back.
Good stuff! But after a few times, people look at what I am typing very carefully |

That is why you shouldnt do it more than twice to the same person.
I have already used metascope this morning. I think it is great. |

I came across this idea in another thread:
You can use FireFox and have them go to Google.com. If you aren't at home, use "IE" and hit "F11" this will hide title bar. You then type "Alt D" this allows you to type in the krazydad.com/bondoogle URL without them seeing the address. |

Thanks kevvy. I was wondering how to do it on another computer.

You're welcome, Chichi.
Actually, it is unecessary to use "IE". Just hit "F11" and "Alt D". Then type the URL. The thread I referred to contains other good ideas: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=37 |
