Good Morning
In my reseach on crystal gazers in The 19 th Century I need some famous names in those days. French glazers using the scrying technique are preferred. Region in France I think Paris arround 1810. I spent a whole day but I did not find names of french gazers in the period 1800-1830. Someone can help me or link me to a reference website? Many Thanks in advance Regards Cees Wing |

Levi learned from Mesmer, transformed animal magnetism into astral body, during that time frame. Hope their names shed some light.

No I am searching for old crystal glazers in frames. I Collect them and I want to make a good decription of the function of glazers in Europe in the 19th Century. Does anyone have more website reference on this specific item. Thanks and Regards Ceeswing living in France but actual he is Dutch |

Little Egypt and the Mechanic will return Mrs. Dreadskin to the 17th century. We'd never played with a camera obscura...thanks, Ceeswing!

How do you frame a crystal ball? Is that squaring the circle? Are you an alchemist, Cees Wing?

Normaly the crystal balls are just plain crystal balls
but sometimes the have a support, a ring or are the surrounded by a metal support (a frame) Thanks for the names Mr. Isso I will continue my search. Would anyone know some further web-site reference? Thanks in advance |

The time period you mention is right in the middle of the magnetic movement that swept across Europe through the 1800s, where almost everything we do in mentalism today was born.
I suggest A History of Hypnotism, by Alan Gauld, with a special note to look at the British mesmerizer, Eliotson, who had several patients do some amazing things with water (including scrying). |

Has magnetiscope enhanced contemporary scrying the way the camera obscura's lens diffuses then focuses its subject?
