Has anybody seen the Silver Canes & Wands by Fantasio? I have one on order from Hocus-Pocus. (Silver Vanishing Wand)

James,

Please give us your thoughts when yours arrives. I have been thinking about buying a silver cane, but I haven't seen one in real time.

Thanks.

I have both the silver cane and the silver wand. Obviously, what Fantasio was going for was to give them a metallic look and with that he has succeeded. When I first received the silver wand, I thought about cheerleaders baton, probably because of the white ends. I don't know if it's more in my mind or not but both the silver appearing and vanishing canes seem a little bit faster to me. I'm going to buy a red cane and use it for color changing canes (silver to black to red).

Thank you Jimmy. I'm gonna order a silver one one of these days. I have the standard black appearing and vanishing canes. I need to get a white vanishing cane next because of a new routine. Silver will be next in line after that.

Got the silver wand and I am happy with it. It retracts very fast and shows up well. Jimmy Joza's comment about looking like a baton seem to come from the larger diameter of the wand compared to a traditional wand and also the white caps come into play.

Thanks James.

I think I will pick up a silver vanishing cane. I want it to look like metallic, and Jimmy thinks it does. Do you feel the same way?

Yes without a doubt. Light plays off it well.

Used the Silver wand at the monthly IBM meeting this week. Was the first one that everybody had seen so they were not ready for the vanish to a streamer.

Ecellent James. I am glad it worked out so well for you. Have you seen the nice metal ones put out by Mahka Tendo? They are very pricey but they come in a variety of colors and look incredible in the light.

I am sure he has a website but nor sure off hand what it is.I would type in Mahka Tendo Magic in google and see what comes up. His metal canes are beautiful and comes in various colors.mazing craftsmanship. The vanishing ones will cut you. The appearing ones are not so bad at all.

I have been using chromed candels and canes from Mr. Fantasio for about 13 years now. He made them for my CD production act. He is a great man. So they have been around a long time. But,they were special made for me. Now anyone can get the canes. Just some inside information. Because I think I am the first person to use them.

Hello

Is the fantasio appearing wand much faster and much rigid than their appearing canes?

Thanks.

I have the Fantasio vanishing cane, appearing cane and vanishing wand in silver. They are very eyecatching and work exactly as his other coloured canes and wands. however, after suing them for a few months, the color does wear off somewhat and they are looking rather dull and flat - in other words 'old'. Therefore, if you're going to use them frequenntly, this is something you need to bear in m mind.

Sorry, a typo! I mean 'using them' - not 'suing them'!!!

I have had the silver appearing cane from Fantasio for about 2 years and it is absolutlely fantastic.

Opens up great and is much more silent than the standard plastic colored ones.
As magicians we create what onlookers call magic. If they truly believe in what we have created for them to witness then magic is real!!!
