Who else has tried this? The angles are terrible, you need big hands to get it right, it's totally impractical, and it works for only one person, if you're lucky.
HOWever, It's a complete vanish of a jumbo coin and will fool the pants off of anyone you show it to (if you get the angles just right). I've had a few people freak out. |

Hi Jordini,
I have indeed experimented extensively with this. I assume the "Messiah Vanish" is a Sankeyism for the old "on the back of the _______" idea? You do need massive hands for this, which I blessed to have - and have pulled it off on several occasions. I have done a little work with tranferring the jumbo from that position to a body load position - very interesting. I took a trip to Boston over Christmas and I stopped in Hank Lees where the friendly store clerk told me about card manipulator Cyril Harvey who had done the 'Messiah' with a card FROM backpalm. Even more surprising was that he reportedly popped it back into backpalm from that position. The back of the ____ is a VERY useful tool if you know how to use it. Ben |

I can do it in my dominate hand, but the other? Forget about it!!!! Bproud, I'm interested in seeing how your making out with it... Jordini...good luck with that jumbo load...

Ya, It looks like a great DVD...I haven't had any success fooling around with the card, but then again, I didn't see him do it personally - I'd like to though. Has anyone seen Lance Burton's "refinement" as shown on his TV special The Encounter for a regular coin in Messiah?
