Jay does an awesome coin vanish on his dvd "45". Is it the messiah vanish?

From what I can remember no I don't think it is. It could be the strike vanish. Did he use a marker to do it?

A bit off topic, but didn't want to start a new thread(there are already 2 on messiah).
What is the name for the back of the hand palm? Havent we gotten one yet?!?!? I'd like to discuss the age old resting place without mentioning the messiah vanish but can't think of a good title. BOH rest perhaps? |

I don't mean to expose but he put it in his watch not his boh. Is it still the same thing. It's definitely not the stricking vanish

It is the himber vanish, not the striking. And once again he is showing something htat is not his. Nevermind.
Daegs- its called the Tenkai Pinch but was popularized by Albert Goshman so people call is the Goshman Pinch |

Your mistaken clamon, I am talking about the "back of the hand/wrist" rest that happens after messiah and other vanishes....
It's not a clip or a pinch but just a resting space, I was just hoping that there was a name for it (I havent heard one yet). Thank you for helping though! |

Daegs: this move is the Torres move, also taught by David Stone in one of his DVDs.

So to say "And then drop the coin from classic palm into Torres Rest" would be the correct phrase?

Er... The Torres move is the action of placing the coin THERE after a vanish. Usually, this is done after a fake put from right hand CP into the left hand, and the coin is dropped there under cover of a wave over the closed left fist. I think the originality of Sankey's version is the way he retrieves the coin, which is MUCH easier then the original one...

...and I'm sorry, no, I don't think you could say that. The Torres move implies this. If you need to specify this location, why not saying: 'dropping the coin on the ..... of the h....'? Keep it simple

That's my point though... anyway I'm starting a new thread for this...
