As I recall though it is an excellent book.. The reason I was able to give you the above info is because I have my book list at work.. Rennie

I too have the book.
Its a collection of the routines published by Ken, along with some gags and advise. Almost everything in the 300 pages is worth doing and there are some are very good, detailed routines. Whats in ? - Kap's dancing cork Egg bag (27 pages) Kaps chinese coin trick (15 pages) Bill tube routine Chinese sticks Nudist deck Rising cards (27 pages) and on and on ... chinese bit, card castle, diminishing cards Kem Brooke had a reputation of suppling the most detailed instructions and the detail on some of the tricks is amazing. My only grumble, and it is a big one, is that many of the routines were intended to accompny some props, and without them it can becomes pointless,(a gimicked card trick without the cards) although in some cases I have worked the thing out. But most of the details are there, and there is so much good stuff. Buy it !! |

The intent of the book was to compile these very well written instruction sheets that Ken provided with the tricks. Back in the 70's and early 80's these sheets were legendary and no other dealer provided such details with an effect they sold.
