Of course the "scientific" study, as usual, is seriously flawed by using only 439 students from the Oklahoma City area to make its claims, but it is receiving wide media coverage right now and no one doubts a story backed by "top docs." Magicians performing bizarre magic in Oklahoma have a special advantage, but with the right spin on the "news," this story may generate some interest in ghost hunting nationwide.
