Hi there,

I was looking for mentalims effects that involved money as a central theme. The difference is, I don't want to use effects that are actually designed for any round piece of metal or rectangular piece of paper. I don't want to use them as "identified" pieces of paper either, i.e. pieces of paper with a unique number on them.

Instead, I'm looking for something that actually utilises the CONCEPT of money, rather than their physical embodiment. I want to tie in to the emotional aspects of people's desire for money, and the symbol of power that it is to most people.

Any ideas?

One of the things about money, is that it gets around and coins in particular are longer lived than bills. Have'nt you ever looked at a date on coin and thought back to the time it comes from, wondered where it has been, who carried it etc. That is where your emotional hook comes in.

The effect can be something as simple as a prediction. Have someone sift through the coins in their pocket and have them select one that has a memorable year. Birth year, anniversary, death, graudation, etc. Where did they live, what was there address, what is playing on the radio. After they have shared some personal information...in good taste, you can swami the year of the coin.

Take Care
