I am doing a piece on street performance for my Ph.D. Can anyone help with footage of their own performances. The stuff will of course be confidential and it does not matter what state the tape, cd, dvd, web based material is... the more the merrier, (so my superviser tells me)

All help will be greatfully appreciated.

Many thank you's in advance

Doc,
I'm not sure too many buskers here are willing to give up something for free if there's any chance they might be able to get paid for it, as evidenced by the outpouring of busker videos recently, but good luck. As I'm not busking for money, you're welcome to my meager offerings on my website.

You might want to look for the DVD "Street Theater" as well as work by Peter Wardell, Gazzo, Robert Bloor (sorry Gazzo for speaking both your names in the same sentence) and, the sets on Cellini that Koz has produced.

Doc you are wellcome to use my video clip on my web-site, if it helps to finish your PHD as long as it is for non profit. I would not consent to the clip of my son Caleb being used any thing else you can be my guest.

A Ph.D. candidate that has a superviser (sic.)???!!
What is a 'piece'?
This sounds fishy.

ha ha ha ha ha. Not only in the same sentance, but right next to each other.

Doc,

I'll be getting new footage on my website in the next week to 10 days. eMail me and let me know some more details about what you're doing.

Yes, Ph.D students do have supervisors... it's quite the norm

But most Ph.D. students can spell supervisor...it's also quite the norm.

Even in Aberdeen.

Another dyslexia joke. I think I'll get ****edoff, go away,, and come back later with a new name, again.
If this guy were a real student he would copy Sally Harrison-Peppers paper from Ol' Miss and add two other references like everybody else.

No, I didn't bust my Google. I found Brachetti. I couldn't find "Branhetti," which was the way you spelled it until my post pointed out your spelling error.

When you quote someone, you owe them the respect to spell their name correctly and to get the quote right, including punctuation. It's a little thing, but if you think enough of them to quote them, you owe them that much.

I've removed my reference to Arturo Barchetti out of respect.

I wouldn't be so picky about this if I did not have a similar problem. My dyslexia, if you can call it that, is the result of eye surgery which left me with less than half a retina in my former master eye. So my eyes focus at different levels. Sometimes, I transpose letters in words. Sometimes I transpose words. So I have to be extra careful when I am writing posts to the forums.

So far, in this post alone, I have caught and corrected 12 spelling errors, make that 13. I'm dead serious about this.

It also means that when I publish material, I have to make sure that someone other than I reads proof on it.

In my case it means I was put out of my BSN program in my senior year.

That is sad, but would it be better for someone to be a nurse who had difficulty reading the orders for dispensing medication?

It calls to mind the old thing about "No, Nurse, you were supposed to prick the patient's boil!"
