Ok, so on Sunday the 5th of Feb., I am going to Atlanta for 2 weeks for training classes on a business that I have bought a portion of. While I am there what should I do in my very limited free time? Any magic shops, or IBM rings, anyone want to meet up, or anything?

Ring 9 is quite active. The one magic shop I am familiar with is Eddie's Trick Shop in Marietta, although there may be others.

There are only 2 shops that I am aware of (and I live here). Eddies as mentioned above, and one in Underground Atlanta. There used to be one in kennesaw where I live but it closed down. As Michael said, the ring9 here is pretty active. I know some of the members are members on the Café so maybe they can fill you in on anything else. Meeting up with you would be great but Im over an hour away from Atlanta at school. Anyway, have fun in the city. Oh and by the way, don't expect much from eddies.

Our ring is having our meeting on the 20th, which is right after you'll be leaving, I think.
http://www.gamagicclub.com/ What part of town are you going to be in? There are several magicians working restaurants around Atlanta, so if nothing else you can go to a restaurant and see some magic. |

...Oh and by the way, don't expect much from eddies. The Marietta Eddie’s is a nice visit. Inventory is limited but they are super-friendly, have endless stuff (dance, costume, theatrical supplies) that can be less boring than magic for traveling companions and is on the vibrant downtown Marietta Square, which has lots to do. Enjoy, Dave
