No need for 3 mirrors just practice in front of one of these.

Actually, if you will get married, your practice audience will let you know very quickly when you mess up.

I know most suggestions here are along the lines of buying a quality webcam but how do know what's quality, what spec do you need and will it do what you want anyway?
I'd suggest you buy a dirt cheap webcam - no more than $10, set it up and try it out. Play with it a while and you'll find out a lot about webcams and what they can (and can't) do. You should then have some idea of what sort of spec webcam you will need for what you want to do with it and look for the right one for you. One technical point. Its not a Webcam unless its connected to the web! G |

It can be a little weird at first having the camera off to the side and not facing it as you perform, but that's how you see what other's are seeing. Also, joining a local magic club like SAM & IBM can give you an audience that will know what to look for. This helps in spotting the stuff 98% of the people may not catch, but you still don't want it showing. I recommend both video and performing in front of a critical audience. Just stay away from the bozo's looking to poke fun and put people down. You can usually find a few people that are willing to watch you perform and give you constructive feedback. You may have to prompt people for the kind of feedback you are looking for. For example, if you are just working on the sleight of hand and dropping a lot of the patter to shorten the trick up, tell that to the person you are asking for feedback. Hope this helps. B

You might want to consider getting a TV card for your computer. With that card you could then connect any old camera with your computer and you can even watch TV at your computer... I believe it is not too expensive either.

If you have real discipline, you can do it with two cameras at about a 30 degree angle off axis, but that won't give you your sides. Quote:
The quality of the observers varies from audience to audience. If you are doing the standard internet stuff, maybe, but if you are doing things that the guys don't know, you will probably fool them, unless you really blow the moves.
