This is not a "How to" dvd, but a great film about a pickpocket. (It is also considered one of the milestones of cinema.)
What makes it worth mentioning here is one of the bonus features is a television performance by a French magician/pickpocket, who was the consultant on the film. It's a great routine, and lasts about 10 minutes.

I got it from my local video/dvd store. They have titles that Blockbuster or Hollywood video does not carry.
If you don't live in a city that has a good video store, I would suggest Netflix, or an internet search.

I had to order mine from england. I believe that it is the version by Arifficial eye you're reffering to. The name of the magician in question is kassagi and he's not just the consultant but also appears in the film in one of the most beutiful pickpocket sequences ever captured on film. A great classic of french new wave cinema that should be on the shelf of every one who loves a good film and a good grift. As a side note Bob le flambeur by jean pierre melville is the film that inspired the new wave and is also a good little film about french hustlers who knock off a casino.
