Gonna dress up as Carrol Channing to do her song as a lead in?
Wow, talk about secure! Might work for a female magician doing the entire schtick. Or a good parody for clubs where that stuff goes over well.

Considering that they control 60% of the market if you own 1 diamond it was probably sold or mined by them and if you own two the chances are even better since very few people really know where the diamonds they wear come from. That was a really interesting comment. I never knew they amputated peoples' limbs while they mine for diamonds. I'll have to speak to my friends over at De Beers maybe I can rent them my arm chopper in exchange for a few diamonds although I would prefer the cash. |

Over the holidays I met with distant relatives of a dear friend of mine. One of them “Cheryl” showed off her new diamond ring to all the women. It was admitingly a big rock. I watched her as she gracefully put her hand out to woo the gals. They starred in awe while one actually screamed with orgasmic delight. They stood there worshiping the stone. Cheryl held it about like a Holy relic, looked at the admiring women then down at the stone. She wiggled her fingers and made rainbow colored lights dance about the rock. Vampire like fangs slipped into view from her bright red lips and just as quickly slipped back as she held her swaying neck. Stared into the rock seemingly possessed and forever satisfied romancing the stone. I saw her again over the weekend. Well I heard her scratchy Betty Davis cackle. I always thought It was odd coming from a seemingly younger woman. Then again, no telling what’s been done with plastic surgery. Just as in magic, not everything is as it seems right? Right. Scanning the room I chuckled to myself figuring I could look for her face or the big rock on her hand which she liberally waves about. The last time I saw her she was showing it off to envious gals she’d collected as personal ‘groupies’. Acting as her friend they wore an obviously jealous face. Do these women expect to slip the ring off and run off with it incase she drops dead before them? There she was still holding a glass of wine. Her glass with a longer and more elegant stem than the others. She’s the type who would actually bring her own glass in a nifty customized Halliburton case. A case that plays Carly Simon’s ‘You’re So Vain’ music when opened . Just like her favorite little musical jewelry box. It was definitely her as her flawless and slinky little body hovered across the room to join another group of sophistos. Somehow she effortlessly makes her bragging comments known to all in the room. Not having heard what the older gentleman before her said, she tossed her head back with her cackling’ laugh, slapped him on the arm, and with the perfectly manicured hand showcasing her bigger than life diamond, pointed in his face, saying out loud, and shaking her diamond hand after each word: “YOU! - ARE! - TOO! - MUCH!” Another long and soft sip of her wine to insure everyone saw it again. She hasn’t seemed to want to talk to me since I asked her If she had a ‘certificate of origin’ since they are just as Important as the ‘certificate of authenticity. Perhaps more important if one is concerned about any human cost in mounting that rock on her beautifully manicured hand. But why spoil such a wonderful assembly of beautiful people, her Chanel No.5 which she must bathe in, her wonderful tales of adventure and travel around the globe, and talk about her beautiful rock. This was the third event and time I ran into her and yet to meet her fiance. She rolled her eyes and with an exasperated tone said he was “working as usual!” From the couch, one of the elders, a beautiful and very elegant lady maybe in her 70’s shouted: “Of course he is darling - someone has to pay for that diamond”… I later found out she was the fellows mother! There is a God! |

Sounds like England post industrial revolution, The population sent down mines for black gold to power the country for less then a penny a day.
All modern countries have passed through a phase that can be likened to what these 'conflict' countries are doing now. As we look at these peoples and their situations we can't help but measure them against how we are now. This is why people have issues, they are asking questions some thousands of years more advanced then where the actual situation is at. It makes me laugh when people cite slavery as if it were some new crime. I would guess that slavery goes back to our dawn. You beat the hell out of the other tribe so there is enough food for your tribe, then why not keep some of the other tribe and make them do the jobs you don't like! It seems it is part of the human condition to divide ourselves and take advantage of the less fortunate group.

I've since found out that our little Diamond Gal is suffering worse effects than understandable. Hmm. I'll think about my long post regarding her love for the rock or her husband.

I've decided to abandon this topic.
My initial description of Goldy Locks and her rock was intended to be a little mean spirited but then again, YOU SHOULD OF SEEN HER AND WHAT SHE PLACED IMPORTANCE ON !!!! Her condition and overall demeanor is, well, not good. I mean, the real gem in her life is her husband. But in her eyes, he doesn't seem to sparkle as much. Sparing opinion, it appears THAT rock was her 'rock'. Outa here. |

I won't dare repeat what's happend since but had to return to remind all.
How she lives her life today, in absence of that rock, proves about her and who she is: Diamonds are forever, They are all I need to please me, They can stimulate and tease me, They won't leave in the night, I've no fear that they might desert me. Diamonds are forever, Hold one up and then caress it, Touch it, stroke it and undress it, I can see every part, Nothing hides in the heart to hurt me. Diamonds are forever, Sparkling round my little finger. Unlike men, the diamonds linger; Men are mere mortals who Are not worth going to your grave for. I don't need love, For what good will love do me? Diamonds never lie to me, For when love's gone, They'll luster on. And in it's absence? She hasn't even time to utter her husband's name. Shame. He was always jealous of that rock. Should he blame it or her for loving it, apparently a little more than he? "But now you better take your diamond ring/ you better pawn it babe. "Like a Rolling Stone," - Bob Dylan ... Litmus has so many faces and he's showing his as I almost, who the hell am I kiddin', can't stand it, any better than the ultimate orgasm.... Will our Precious Lord above hear little Goldy Lock's prayer. Will he even care? |
