I will be visiting NYC this weekend (February 17-19, Friday - Sunday). For anyone who lives in or frequents New York, what are some recommendations for hot spots for magic? I'm looking more for performances and less for places where magicians meet to hang out. I won't have time for much of the latter on this trip. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I'd really love to check out Monday Night Magic, and I thought about extending the trip to include Monday however that is just not an option. I have to be back home by Monday to work. Seeing that you are from NYC, any other suggestions, Paolo?

Adam,
sincerely I'm performing every night and I got no time at all, but I know that magicians meets every friday, 2:00pm at Hotel Edison (I'm never been there) and I know that "usually" magi meets in Tannen's shop on saturday. I think it could be better if you PM Mike Rubinstain; he's in better comunication with magic events and he's a good friend (and astonish magician). Good luck. |
