Levity: Lightness of manner or speech, especially when inappropriate; frivolity.

Is Kreskin a household name in the US and Canada?
Like Rolf Harris over here. I think if he came and performed here he would be made most welcome, and find the adventure profitable. I do not think this thread reflects badly on Kreskin, Entity need not worry. It is a charming story (true or false). Feel the love Kreskin. Corona |

Kreskin is great, but he might be caught in a time warp today. He's expecting an attentive audience from his heyday.
I could offer suggestions to correct this situation, but the curse is too strong. The curse, you may ask? Every time that you offer the simple or obvious solution to another person's problem in a show, the very next show that you do, you encounter something similar or even worse. It's just the way. |

It doesn't help when Kreskin appears on such shows as "Last Call With Carson Daly", and Carson obviously treats Kreskin in a patronizing way. Much of the younger generation likes to think that they have it together, but they're simply screwing the world up. Too many are just cocky and insecure. They try to build themselves up by trying to tear someone else down, exspecially when that person has too much class to fight back.

Your three theys and much, too many and someone else are equally vague. Ironically, my Webster defines ageism as discrimination against older persons.

Yes the world was great up til about 20 years ago when all these kids came along to ruin it for the rest of us. Still the older folks have more money and firepower at their command....

Many of today's youth are disrespectful- very disturbing, very true. True also of very many adults who have had even more time to figure out they should know better. Disheartening regardless of the age of the perpetrators. But I would say it is THEIR loss, more than anyone else's. They are cheapening themselves. Kreskin doesn't lose any of my respect here, even if he stooped for a moment. Not ideal, but a very understandable, human reaction.

I'm confused. Did Kreskin stoop for a moment to pick up a bun and didn't like what kind it was (not ideal)?
