Andy Nyman is unbelieveable! I saw him at The Magic Castle while hanging out with some buddies of mine from Hollywood Magic. We went to see his show in the Close-Up Room and he actually managed to freak out every magician in the room!
He has a routine that he just released in stores this week called Dice-Man that is just amazingly brilliant and simple at the same time. I recommend you guys check it out if you haven't yet. I am going to see him Friday night at the Castle again...I heard he has a whole new routine worked out...I can't wait! Smile

Not only does he perform some great mentalism, but he's a great guy too!

Ditto, ditto, ditto! I've hung out with Andy and he is a very funny guy. The guy is very creative and puts some great presentations into his mentalism. He is a great entertainer.

Dear members,

I have a huge admiration and respect for Andy and his work. I saw him perform in the Close-up Gallery and in the Parlour of Prestidigitation. Both shows were absolutely terrific. Furthermore he is extremely interesting and fascinating on a purely human level.

Best regards,

D

Andy is one of my favourite mentalists, one of the minority that can make mentalism REALLY entertaining. In my opinion anyway.

I also met Andy while working at Marvins Magic, a loooong time ago. He is a friend of Bruce who works there. Great guy has some nice mentalism effects that are easy to perform, like 'killer elite'. Just to let you know he is also the guy 'behind' Derren Brown in the same way Paul Harris is the guy behind David Blaine.

I went to his lecture... I wasn't able to see him cause I'm not 21 yet and just a junior member. I liked his lecture a lot and he has great insight to the psychology of the effects rather than the hard sleights... but hey that's mostly what mentalism is anyway huh??
