Which is the best Rising Card effect out there? Cardiographic, Notion in Motion, Kundalini? Are there any good impromptu, gaffless rising cards? Thanks for your help.

Check out David Acer's Natural Selection book vol. 2, I think he has his rising card version and it's gaffless.

Ken Krenzel and Chris Kenner also have gaffless versions. Ken's is called "On the Up and Up," and can be found on his Card Classics vol 3 video.
Kenner's is called "Schwing!" and is found in his book Totally Out of Control. Brandon |

One of the best I've seen in a long time has to be A.I.R. by Dave Forrest. Also, unlike any of the ones mentioned above, A.I.R. IS available as a download, at:

Thanks for saying so Iain,
Incidentally, Iain's new lecture notes are BRILLIANT! Don't check them out at your peril! Dave.

I'm a sucker for rising card effects. I bought A.I.R. and didn't really like it. Perhaps I'm getting too old to get my fingers around the deck in the way you have to.

I think Gary Plants has a version that is very good... Sorry I don't have more details.

This post just made me remember a rising card trick I made up years ago. I think I'll dig it back out and work on it again. The only reason I didn't keep working on it back then was just life had it's changes and it slipped my mind. I'll come back here and let you know about it when I work out the details.

no new one, but very effective and not dificult to do. |

If you ever get a chance to see Angelo Carbone's "Notion of Motion" where any card is named and it rises from a deck of cards which is inside of the box (which has been seen on all sides), then you'll have seen a true miracle.
