I think I just purchased four doves from where you got your lil guy. This is the first time I'm going through him (Herb from Hawthorne, NJ)

I think I mentioned I was a magician, but some breeders don't take too well to that. They think most of us are irresponsible, and not animal people. If they aren't one of us, they can't tell where we're coming form, understandably, there are some real winners out there.

Yes, he's a very nice guy. His website says 25 dollars a bird, but he charges more.i

Are you planning on getting any more? Are you planning on starting a complete dove act?

Oh cool... The reason I ask this is because when I got Jack, he was the only white ringneck he had... (Other than the two parents...)

Well, no... I plan on just having Jack, and using him in the dove pan until I can save up enough money for something more advanced like a balloon to dove pan... No routines though -> Just one simple trick, and maybe a switch out for a Neilsen latext Dove, and do some comedy or something...

I use a balloon to dove in my act.. you can make a great act with some play.

They are somewhat bigger, stronger birds.

after looking at his album I'm siding with white or tangerine pearled, what do you guys think?

White is obviously the stereotypical magicians dove. I use pied doves every once and a blue. I like to dye my doves though, so obviously white is my choice.

They are all gorgeous birds, and the tangerines are actually a very nice looking dove, the only problem with them is, and that goes with all pied doves, is that some people will look at them as pigeons or park birds. It takes away from that natural, beautiful, snow white, magical dove look. Was that a mouthful or what.

It's all what you prefer. Do you plan on dying yours?

You`ve got a good point there with the whole pied doves look like park birds to some people, (though I cant understand why).So white would probably be the better choice, cause you cant have doves looking like street-birds now can ya? Also what do you mean by "dying" doves? I'm new to dove magic, so I hope you don't mean dying them blue or some-odd coler like that do you?

Yes I dye most of my birds for my act, depending on the routine. It's no harm to the doves whatsoever, and it grows out eventually.

Sad but true, some people will think the "park birds" take away from the magic. They really are beautiful creatures, any color.
