I've seen it before...and he makes me laugh like a fool everytime...especially those high pitched noises he makes!
But the million dollar question: Is he really doing this stuff for real, or is he just performing "geek"? Does anybody know?? God I'm crazy to know the truth.

I had the pleasure of entertaining a corporate gig along with Stevie Starr, and I can tell you that even up close it looks amazing. It doesn't really matter if his stuff is real or not. If it's real, it's pretty outstanding. And if it's fake, then he's a pretty good magician, since he can fool so many magicians.

Oh, I realiae he could just ne performing geek, but then I ask my self HOW?? What principles are there that allow you to put a whole lightbulb in your mouth and SWALLOW hard without any cover? It's sure not tucked in his cheek! It's got me stumped! This man is cool! Stevie's my hero, man!

Stevie Starr is incredible. The most incredible thing is that in all the years that he has been doing that act,and he must have been doing it for almost 20 years now, I don't think anyone really knows how he does what he does.
He does some CRAZY stuff in that act. Vandy

I saw Stevie perform around ten years ago in London. It blew me away! Its the best and only act of its kind to my knowledge. A world class, unique and versatile act that could play virtually any venue in the world. I saw him in a warehouse full of heavy drinkers. From memory, also on the bill was a comedian and a stripper.

I used to work with Stevie on the university circuit and he told me that when he young he was brought up in a childrens home and the big kids would beat him up and steal his money so he learnt how to swallow it and bring it back at a later time. He is doing really well working a lot in Japan at the moment where they treat him like a star (excuse the pun) and he gets paid a fortune as he is a unique act.

We just watched a DVD at the magic club where someone else does the goldfish trick, I think it was called Dirty Tricks, UK.

Timing is strange at times. I come across this post on the same day that I got a call from a friend asking me to check my e-mail. He said it was a link to, as he called him, a magician who swallowed things. I opened it, and guess what, it was Starr himself.
