That's hard to answer since it won't be ready for shipment until the end of the month.

I'm not absolutely certain of the method. However, the use of a battery has certain implications. The more technology involved in a prop, the more likely it is to fail.

Let's look at another aspect, though. When you are working outdoors, wind is a consideration. How are you going to keep this from being blown over in the wind?

I agree with Bill that video clip tell,s us nothing.
If it did what I think they want us to think it does, have a full blown conversation with a note pad while it sat on your table. Then it could work, what a cute way to tip a kid.
I suspect not.

The batteries don't scare me, but the fact that it's just made of light materials does. Too wind prone. Also, the angles are crap and most of your crowd won't get to see what's happening from the proper angles -- stage front and center. There are SOOOO many better choices than this out there! Better suited for indoor birthday parties, IMHO.

It's not necessarily the batteries that are the problem with things like this. There are literally dozens of things that can cause failures with this type of device. The Axtell sketch pad is 100% unless the gaffus breaks, and that's unlikely.

I don't know and Axtell from an axel, or an Ultimate from an ultimatum. I'd much rather paint a face on my hand and do pantomime. I honestly can't relate to any degree with inventions such as these, or the performer that relies on them.

The Axtell sketch pad is that pad that has the movable jaw and eyes built into it. It's a clever idea for someone who wants something bigger than a hand to work with. It does look kind of magical.

What if you drop it, can it stand a fall? I know it says "Stage Magic", so how close can you get with it? One more thing,What if you are "Rushed" (people run up to you wanting to examine the pad)?
Magically,
