Maximus, the man with the awesome power may be an old book, but the IDEAS and thrust in it (NLPers read Paradigms and Models)are still groundbreaking today
In Maximus, Al lists the following categories
Auras
Palms
Handwriting etc, etc.
Since he wrote it, many new type of effects and methods have appeared
Some not so good, others perhaps even better
I thought it would be a good idea to build an up-to-date resource, based on Al's ideas in Maximus
What I'm proposing is a list of books, tapes, discs, ideas, effects, methods and principles for further study and discussion in depth by people who have a strong interest in AL Mann, particularly this book and this type of Mentalism
Anybody who does not have the book, but still wants to join in the fun can do so
All you have to do is think of you favourite effect that is
Strong
Impromptu(or apparently LOL)
Propless
Right in the face
(or reasonably so) and tell us WHY you like it
Just to keep some sort of focus, let's start with
Mindreading
Here are my favourites
Raymond Carlyle's Serial Number On A Bill
Walk up to a group and ask one for a number and use a NW
SS stack used twice with 'effort' then because I'm getting stronger
BANG, BANG, BANG
It's a red card...it's a Heart... it's a number card...it's a Six
I like these because they are strong, easy to do fast moving and right in their faces
How about you? Do you know any good ones?
