I purchased Bob Cassidy's Chronologue some years ago from Collector's Workshop and use if frequently -- always to very good effect. I would now like to buy some calendars and make up a version that uses my own handwriting in ink rather than the xerox version of someone else's handwriting that came with the original.
For anyone out there who has done this...I would appreciate some advice on where I can find calendars that meet the requirements of the trick -- owners will know what I mean (space to write the card names, pockets in the front and rear of the calendars, etc.). Many thanks. |

In the UK, WH.Smiths had some great small diaries. probably get them cheap now.
Just use a different method for the ending. Richard Gerlitz has a nice idea ... Well I guess in every country it shouldn't be a problem to find the proper one. I went to an office supply and after a short search I found one.
BTW there is a manuscript by Cassiy which is about Remote Viewing, and inside you have a way how you can use just ONE diary. I use this version also and its very good in handling. Greetings Thomas |

I use Pocket Calendars from Office Depot - they work VERY nice!
For whatever it's worth, I recently did a show where the sponsor was a music school. As a client tie-in, I made a new set for Chronologue and instead of playing cards, musical instruments were used. Since then, I've made a set with the 50 states. The method is still the same, but it keeps the variety going! |

Thanks all. Sounds like Office Depot is the best source.

I find them in cheap department type stores.
I have never actually seen Cassidy's Chronologue, but based on a similar concept, I wrote card names at random throughout the calendar and then use it in a routine with an invisible deck. Works well for me. All the best, Rob |

I found the calendars from a local 99 cent store. They are the Brownline calenders. These are not exactly the same calendars like the Cassidy effect but work none the less.
RJE that's an excellent idea using the ID for this. Nice thinking!! Rick

Any calendar that shows a full week on two pages will work. It should be no problem to find those “Weekly Planners” in any decent stationary store, bookstore, Staples, Office Depot.
I made mine after watching Bob Cassidy’s outstanding DVD “Mental Miracles”. He describes the effect in detail and tells you how to make one for yourself. The calendar I used is by MeadWestvaco and is called “DayMinder”. Check out the website http://www.at-a-glance.com.
