I am working with a Harakhan appearing cane,
I want a holder that will secure the cane to the jacket and allow easy removel. Since the cane is metal I was thinking of just using a magnet and glueing some material onto it so the cane doesn't scratch, but I was looking for something different. Does anyone know of books or videos that give methods for a holder for these canes, or a magic shop selling holders? I heard fantasio's book was great but his canes are different and I didn't know if those methods would be adoptable to the Harakhan? Thanks everyone, DJ |

I use a Buckingham coin holder. It is good, not just for coins, but for any small heavy article. Cheap, easy to make and sure fire.
Check out Geofrey's book - "Its easier than you think" or the DVD or video. Cheers, B.S |

DJ, I developed my own holders for the fantasio appearing candles and the Harakhan/Mahka Tendo appearing canes and they have worked very well for me for all my shows.
PM me as usual and we can exchange ideas again. |

First try a custom pocket that you can pin in the correct place before sewing. The Fantasio candle gimmick that would work is a a 'U' type shape that has a loop on one side and a hook on the other. Just use brass wire from the hardware store or hobby shop. Solder a pin to it by way of an inch of brass from the gimmick to the pin or use velcro.

Gator clip!!! Pin it on your pants or jacket, and clamp the cane in it. apply slight pressure to the clip, and your cane come free, yet it holds your cane securely, and its cheap!!!
