If you are in the Memphis area in the next few weeks, The Pink Palace has an exhibit on The Science of Illusion. It takes a look at magic and illusion from a science viewpoint. I haven't seen the exhibit yet, but other magicians who have said it is good. They said that exposure is very minimal, and what is exposed is something you can learn in a science class. They have asked the Memphis magic club to provide some volunteer magicians...only thing is, we would have to use the props associated with the exhibit (liability issues), but it's simple stuff (mirror box type stuff). The reason they want magicians is that their volunteers aren't performers, which, as we know, is a lot of what magic is about. So, if you are in the Memphis area, stop by The Pink Palace and check out Magic: The Science of Illusion.

The only stupid question is the one not asked.
