The best rates can be had by registering early! Find a friend to split a room. Save up! Ebay off that drawer full of great tricks you've never touched! Sell your blood... no don't do that!

Hope you can make it!

Hey guys! Exciting news!! I have recently found out that The Magic Café's very own chief of staff, Dave Scribner will be attending SEAM 2006! We certainly welcome him, and look forward to his visit in Birmingham!

Thanks for the welcome Michael and by the way, it's not necessary to play "Hail to the Chief" when I arrive. A simple monetary donation is fine Smile

Wow! "Hail to the Chief" on harmonica! That's going to have to be live music! I'm sure Wal-Mart's not going to have it on CD. (I hope Tabman knows that one.)

Dave,

When was the last time you saw "Cut and Restored Water Melon"? Do you know any tricks with grits and peanuts? Dixie Cups and cotton balls? Fried chicken?

Those magicians that always attend SEAM and Matilda will be honored to know that you came. Tell Jim Davis that I'm hunting my shoes now. I'm going to try to wear them just because we have company from up north.

No joking, we're glad you're going to be here and hope to have you enjoy the fun.

Bob

Happy to hear that magicmind. Bring 'em on!! We're working hard for you guys, and we'll be glad to have you here!

Have you registered yet?? Get registered early and save!!

Remember... we have events beginning as early as 3:00 pm on Thursday August 3rd!

Also... not yet announced... a comedy club-style open mic magic session late night Thursday. Anyone can take the stage for a few minutes, but it will be on a first come, first served basis. We'll send the announcement out very soon. We also have a couple other surprises that we are holding back on! Should be fun!

Anyone here who has not gotten email promotions about SEAM 2006 either from us directly, or forwarded through your local club, please send me your email address, and I will make sure that it gets added to the list.

I can be reached through PM's here (The Magic Café), or email me at themagiccompany@aol.com or seamconvention06@aol.com.

Bob,

Glad that you are looking forward to seeing my Rubik's Cube Manipulation Act at SEAM. Of course, I always have a few surprises so the act is not always the same every time. I think that I'm more excited about performing close-up at SEAM since I will get to show off some of my act that usually the lay audiences get to see.

I was hoping to catch your act at Twin City, but I have shows on Thursday and Friday nights. Also, my son has an all-star baseball game on Saturday at 3 PM, but hopefully it will be over in time for me to make the 1 1/2 hour drive to Bristol to catch the Saturday night show. The sad news is that I will be performing at Bristol Library on June 14 right after Twin City. To bad I could not work that in to be Friday so I could of been in Bristol already that day.

Hope to catch everyong at SEAM in August!

Joseph

Joseph,

It was good to see you and your family in Bristol. My son Jake and I combined more than a few baseball games and magic dates in the 80s and 90s. It was actually a good life. At the age of 24 he is still playing baseball in Birmingham. (But at age 61, I'm still doing magic too!)

See you in Birmingham in August.

Michael Baker may have the schedules ready in the next few days. He's been doing his usual great job.
