Very nice! Where did the glass go? What a kicker ending !!

Beautifully done !!!

A perfect example for us purists who don't believe anything is necessary but the coins !!!!

The glass vanish got me !! What a great kicker!!

Thanks for the kind words Howard, Phedon and Gene.

I really enjoy performing this effect. It has always been in my repertoir for quite sometime now.

My good friend Glenn Bishop has a beautiful handling of 4 coins and a glass. One of the nicest and most knowledgable close up magicians I know.

Loved the ending.
Loved the (methods for) the second and fourth coins.
Not sure about the third.

There is a problem with the first coin. You have a VERY clean method at that point but you make a broad sweeping gesture towards the left hand with the glass and it almost touches the left hand. It would be better if the glass never came near the hand before the first coin passes.

Great point! I normally keep the distance! I was fooling around with the guys! Half were magicians and I was throwing them off. They thought it was some funky high tech muscle pass or something. Thanks for the woderful comments and suggestions.

Rannie,
I don't know if you are familier with David Harkey's "Over The Edge" version of Coins to Glass, but it's VERY clever and overcomes the hand hanging over the glass issue. That's not a huge problem but using Harkey's ideas for one coin always struck me as a good way of "cancelling" that line of thought.

I've always considered coins to glass to be a routine for larger groups who couldn't see the coins very well in a traditional coins across. But adding the glass ending makes it worth doing close up.

Glass kicker! Very cool. You might have an original here!

Rannie: I enjoyed that very much. The glass kicker was excellent.

I understand about the audience and taping something like this. What happens, happens. (unless you want to tape it over and over - where you lose the audience's natural reactions).

Thanks for sharing.

Craig,

This was done in one take. This was shot during an intimate night with magicians and their girlfriends. This was part of my show. I will send you the other parts as well. Take care my friend. I hope yur new routine with your ROV is going smoothly.

BWind,

Aloha and Mabuhay! So nice to hear from you. I'm glad all's well with you. My best regards to Glen Bailey!

Dan,

I admire your coin work. I saw a clip of you from the FISM. It was the one where you have a guitarist playing music for you. Thanks for the compliments. I am quite proud of this kicker and it feels quite original to me.

Harris,

Thanks for the kind words!

GODFATHER,

I can't wait for the DVD to hit the road! So many wonderful magicians in it. Can't wait for La Famiglia 2,3,4,5,6......7...
Perhaps this could be in LF2.
