My tech director went out with a tour and we had to reset some of our lights and use them in a different show. I am having trouble with the circuts in the theater we are in.

Anyone know how to determine how many 100 watt lights can go on a 20 Amp circut?
We are running all the lights thru straight power packs instead of dimmers and have some pin spots and Par 54's on the 20 Amp circut.

Thanks for your advice

Ohm's Law my friend.
Watts = voltage x amps
or
20 amps x 120 volts = 2400 watts
do not try to run the full amount there are many degrading factors. you should be safe running 1800 - 2000 watts per 20 amp circuit
