Losander is putting in the new hands-free for me this month and I must say it is an awesome addition if you already own the table. To just let go of it completely will make the audience even that much more impressed by an already great effect.

Hi guys,
What is the dual flotation? Sean |
|||||||||
The Drake Inner circle 2274 Posts |
The dual floatation is where you can let go of the cloth and either lay your hands on top of the table to float it or grab an object that was just placed on the table while it floats.
Losander does this with a Candle (in his video on his website) but will not release that so he's come up with a clever method of placing a little silver box on the table and while you are floating the table you can let go of the cloth to open the box and remove a card or other object to give to your volunteer. You then close the box and grasp the cloth again to continue floating the table. Losander will modify any of his original tables to include the method. Best, Tim |

I can see the worry with larger props but this one is a fantastic investment. My experience with the table (as a business investment) has been only positive. #1. It's a powerful illusion. (real crowd pleaser) #2. It's portable. You can easily take it on a plane or anywhere. #3 Perform it anywhere. Totally surrounded. #4 Plays upscale. (lets you ask a higher buck for shows ) I've gotten gigs from clients who hired me just to see "that floating table illusion" #5 The Losander Table has a solid rep and is easily resold on the used market if you want to sell. This is yet another reason to buy an original Losander table and not a knock-off. Tell your wife that this is one illusion that will never see the dust at the back of your closet. You can use it for everything from birthday parties to large illusion shows. Good Luck! Tim |

I totally agree with Mr. Drake, the table is a great investment. You can use it at any type of show and you will never not want to perform this. I perform this effect at every show and it is a mainstay in my act.

Mr Drake is right on the money with his points... you will make more money with this Item. I have had mine for a year and I must say it is the greatest. A "packs small plays huge" illusion. This is the first piece of magic I have performed that puts a lump in my throat while I perform it. I'm not kidding !!!!

Tim and Others,
You guys are the best. Thanks. The good news is I have an arrangement with my wife that if I buy something new, I sell something in my collection to cover it. For you collectors, there will be some Warner items on eBay very soon. (:-) I can't wait to order Losander's Table. Bill |

Well, I am really convinced that the original Losander's is the way to go. I am really interested in the Supreme Table. That will go on my wish list.
I'm not sure if everyone checked out his new box addition. The performance video is really cool!!! Has anyone bought this version? Jeremy |

I too watched the video. I knew EXACTLY what to expect, but was knocked for six when I actually saw it.
For me this at least TRIPLES the effect. Beautiful! Gary |

Dear all,
I have received my Losander Supreme Table and used it over 10 shows. I must say it is definately a reputation maker! haha... Still awaiting the box addition from losander as it is shipped direct from him. I had the Mikame table before. It is totally different from the losander's table. It uses the classic floating table principle with the ring. I used it as part of a mentalism routine whereby the table floats up while my hand and the spectator's hand is on the table. It has a nice touch on removing the table cloth when the table is floating. Losander is still the way to go! Cheers! Regards, Jeremy |

Jeremy, did you buy the $1800 one? or the $2500 one? The $1800 one seems to be the most heaviest one IMO. Why is the $2500 one costs $2500? How is it better?
Don't just dream, stay awake and action!

Hey Michael,
Yes I bought the 1800 one. I bought it together with the box addition for $2000. The $2500 is bigger I guess and apparently have a more deluxe design to the stem of the table. I am happy with my current one and it is doing me really well... haha Cheers! Jeremy |

I also recently got my Luna table and have absolutely agree that Losander's tables are really a work of art.
I'm still working on it and hope to get it into my act soon.
