Does anyone know the name of a trick that allows you to show it full of water and slowly empties as people watch?

"Ever Filling Glass" or "Chen Lee Water Suspension" could be the one you ask for.

A good place to try for something like that is Steven's Magic Emporium in Wichita, Kansas. Give them a call. I used to do the trick with milk as the method I used needed the liquid to be opaque: White balloon inflated and in glass covered with milk. TT with pin out end. When you want the milk to go down you just prick the balloon. Air out, balloon down and milk looks just like it is vanishing from the glass. Very cool. Best,

If your referring to the one that you empty when ppl watch, then you set it down and it refills with water so you can empty it again, I believe its called a "Lota bowl" and there are tons of places that sell them, do a google on the term lota bowl and you'll see what I mean.

The Magic Castle used to have "Invisible Irma" (the ghostly piano player), use a milk tumbler for those who wished to purchase Irma a drink.
