Hi there,
I'm considering subscribing a magazine for magicians (monthly.. or longer, I prefer). Which one do you think is good to buy? My main interest is close-ups with ordinary objects. Coins are also fine (with or without gimmicks). Either reply me or PM me would be fine. Thanks~
It only takes a minute to learn how it is done, but takes a lifetime to learn how to do it.

"Antinomy" may be a strong consideration. Check out all the contributing magicians by clicking on the Back issues Icons:
http://www.antinomymagic.com/ The magazine is a large 11" x 11" format with some great close up effects and many clear pictures. It's offered 4 times a year with an annual CD-Rom bonus which includes all 4 issues on PDF, additional effects and tips, plus tons of performance videos. If you like coin effects, Eric Jones's visual Flash coin "Re-lit" coin routine was featured in a recent issue. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......;start=0 An excellent resource! Bosco |

Antinomy. Great articles. Focuses on cards and coins. The production quality of the magazine is amazing.

Info2victor,
Isuppose it really depends on your budget and loction. Magic and Genii are only $50 U.S. per year. Joining IBM or SAM is wise and cost effective too. Antinomy is very expensive but you cannot get a Mercedes for a Chevy price. It is also a quarterly publicatation vs. the others being monthly. These suggestions are best for the US.If outside America everything is probably different. Joe

Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you're probably right. |
