I went to order a new dime and penny and saw this gimmick and am unfamiliar with it. Can someone give me some info and if it's a good trick. I can see how it can be easily be used with some coin routines I use. Can it be handed out at the end also?
Thanks for any info! Brian |

I've had it for years. Nice little quickie of a nickle changing to a half dollar. I suppose you can use it in larger routines, once it becomes a half and you switch it out. It's an eyecatcher alright, but mostly just that...It could allow you to magically go into other things that your mind could think of easy enough, I suppose. Nice enough little thing, but you can't hand it out...but then again, that's why they have "switches," so that you can "apparently" do just that.
Also, I think they even speak of it in Bobo's...it's an old one.

If you're asking, can it be handed out for examination then the answer is no. Of course, you could always do a switch. I have one somewhere gathering dust. It's quick and flashy. But I'm not too crazy about it. Perhaps if you quickly go into a routine before or after you use it. I wouldn't recommend it and if you were to use it the I don't think you should use it by itself. I welcome the viewpoints of those who disagree because it may open my mind about using his particular gimmick.

Where to begin...
The item is described in Bobo's. Please familiarize yourself with ALL of the items in that wonderful book. From there, it's amazing how much you can do with an eg2eg change if you apply yourself.

A horrid waste of money and nothing that can't easily be done better by minimal sleight of hand.
Do read ALL of Bobo's before wasting money on "one trick wonders". |

I have to agree with Bill, it's a waste of money.

I've tried to use both your EG2EG, Kainoas and the method in Bobos. I'm using a U.S. penny and am finding all these methods a bit difficult with small coins. I'm still looking for the most visible of these and I know it will be worth it in the end. BTW. Thanks for having your method published. I like it. I've always done EG2EG with a twist of the wrist and from FP. |

Yeah, Larry...I think I agree with that sentiment pretty much too.

I recently sold the one I had sitting around. It's a clever gaff, but it wasn't something that I ever used. Like it was stated above, it's possible to achieve the desired effect using sleight of hand.
