Obviously, I know that Lance Burton is at the Monte Carlo and then there is P&T at the Rio (saw their show last year). Can anyone offer up any places to go to for a magic show or shows? Primarily interested in cards, coins and mentalism...but anything good will work. I am going to be there for the WSOP the last of June through July 4th. I'd be grateful for any leads on folks to check out.

Thanks!

In my opinion one of the best magic shows in Vegas is Mac Kings.

Personally I think Mac King and Penn and Teller are the shows not to miss.

I'd highly recommend the Mac King Show @ Harrah's (my favorite), then the Worlds Greatest Magic show @ Greek Isles, then Amazing Jonathan @ the Sahara and finally Rick Thomas at the Stardust.

Mac King at Harrahs, one of the cheapest and best show of Magic in Vegas. It aso has the advantage to be performed in the afternoon. Don't miss Cirque du Soleil. It's also magic !

I have to agree that Mac King is a great show. I would also suggest checking out the Amazing Jonathan he is very funny. Lance Burton is also a great show.
The only constant is change.

I have never been to the USA. How much does such a show cost in Las Vegas?

The worlds greatest magic show isn't that great, but Mac's show sure was.

Who is at the Houdini Lounge these days? I think Lance Burton also is at the Monte Carlo.

Mac King's show is, hands down, the best magic show in Vegas. I believe it is priced under $20. Lance Burton's show is also terrific, but is considerably more expensive.

Definitely check out Mac King and Rick Thomas. Lance Burton is great for classic magic. Also check out Dirk Arthur.

Hey:

Anyone know if most of the magicians are available for autographs after their show. I saw P&T as well as Lance a long while back, and they did it then. Just curious if they still do. Does Mac King?

Hello Memory-Jah:

The prices vary quite a bit, and there are lots of coupons in magazines and at some of the casinos/hotels, but I think I can give you an idea.

1. Lance Burton - around $60.00
2. Mac King - around $25.00
3. David Copperfield - around $100.00
4. Penn and Teller - last time I went, it was around $50.00 to $60.00
5. Rick Thomas - when he was at the Tropicana, it was around $15.00 to $20.00
6. World's Greatest Magic Show - seems like it was $50.00 to $60.00 when it was at Sahara's

There are some shows in the afternoons, and they're cheaper. Also, there are two ticket outlets where you can buy tickets the day of the show, but not before then. They sell tickets for 1/2 price, and not all shows are available. I've done this a number of times, and it's a nice deal.

I go to Las Vegas quite often - I can get there in 50 minutes via plane. The prices above are just from my memory.
