Gentlemen,
I still sell the old fashioned 100% cotton rope at http://www.rope.ws
I am constantly seeking rope suppliers, but to no avail. When D robbins started using the India rope (which has formaldehide smell), I dug out an old source from Georgia. I buy end of mill in order to get the best pricing.
The Walmart and odd lots ropes have starch and stiifeners in it, the undyed 100% cotton I sell is 1/4".
