Has anybody seen this at Hocus Pocus? Does anybody do this in their show? I already do one vanishing silk routine but this seems too good to pass up. The low price for the product scares me though. What do you all think of this?

Hmm....sounds like the typical Silkola effect, but with a Pringles tube replacing the gimmicky looking cocktail shaker cover. The Pringles becoming resealed sounds great.
I'm cheap, but for $22 bucks I'd try it!

I just got this. Interestingly, the guy that sells this says in the instructions that he didn't invent the use of a Pringles can for this type of effect. He admits that his only addition is the ability to end with a sealed can. That's fine I guess except for the fact that his addition isn't really an addition. The method for ending with the sealed can is exactly what I thought it would be...ie there really isn't a method. You're basically just paying for an ending but you have to come up with your own method for arriving at the ending point. Sorry to be vague but I don't want to tip anything. In the end, the package comes with two silks, an empty coke bottle and the gimmicked Pringles can to make the Silkola effect possible.

Bottom line, I'm sure the trick will play great, especially for kids, but don't be expecting a fantastic method for getting to the sealed can. If you already own the Silkola effect using the Pringles can, no need to buy this effect. You'll be getting the same props you already have with the slight addition of the idea of how to end with a sealed can.
