Can a ROV vanish be used with the balls in a cups and balls routine? Has anyone tried this or what is your standard ball vanish?

Yes it can. I use two. Look for the Clipped Vanish in Garcia's Encyclopedia of Sponge Ball Magic and the Retention of Vision explained by Patrick Page in his Secret Sessions Spongeball. They both work great with cups and balls balls.
betcha' a dollar there's even more. These are the two that I use. ain't like you NEED too many. |

Johnny Thompson also explains his ball vanish - which has a nice ROV element - on one of his DVDs (it's the volume that contains his cups and balls routine).

I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler
