I figured that with the large amount of Cups and Balls post in thie forum that it would be the best place for this question. If it is not, then I apologize. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find a wand that looks like a pool cue? A two piece would be ideal.
Thanks, -Buddy |

Thomas Wayne, who is a pool cue maker, has made some that were very similar to pool cues. Check out the wand section of the cups and balls museum, http://www.cupsandballsmuseum.com .
Look at the wands by Thomas Wayne and Joe Porper.

Joe Porper doesn't just make magic, he's also the Big Daddy of the custom pool cue world, his stuff is among the finest you'll see anywhere.

I got the call this morning.
He did not know what dimensions to make it except for 12" long. It can be done in two-piece but the prototype is just a one-piece. http://www.theambitiouscard.com/img/poolStick/DSC_0001.JPG http://www.theambitiouscard.com/img/poolStick/DSC_0002.JPG http://www.theambitiouscard.com/img/poolStick/DSC_0003.JPG http://www.theambitiouscard.com/img/poolStick/DSC_0004.JPG it's got a black fake rubber butt and a dark green tip

Joe Porper is the big daddy of pool cue making? I thought that was Thomas Wayne. Or do they both do the high end items? I thought I read an article where one of Thomas Wayne's cues went for $1,000,000.
That was a few years back. Maybe I am mistaken.

Porper cues can be $1500.00 and way on up, although he now concentrates on making the worlds best cue cases, cue accesories, and actual tools that guys like Thomas Wayne use to make their cues. This following link isn't Joe's magic site, so take a look if you've not seen it before, it's his pool cue site.
http://www.porper.com/ I guess the million dollar cue beats Joes cues, but Joe is one of the founders of the American CueMakers Assoc. and certainly qualifies as a cuemaking "Big Daddy". A million dollars for a cue?.....now that makes magic supplies look cheap! |

For the cups and balls, you could use 3 pieces of chalk as the little balls, I suppose.
