I would like to know if anyone knows how many Kanter's catalogs were produced while the store was in business, I have one that is not numbered that is dated 1939 then I have 8,9,10,11,12,18,21 If anyone could tell me what the total was it could help me as I try to put together a complete set. Thank you all in advance!

The answer to your question may be in Burt Sperber's upcoming checklist of conjuring dealer's catalogs. Thus far, it's nearly 400 pages, with thousands of entries.

I am in the process of organizing and editing the preliminary matter, but do not know when Burt will publish this. If I get my work done in a timely manner, it could be ready for this year's NEMA meeting in November. But it's entirely up to Burt as it is his project. Clay |
