Does anyone out there use an electronic thumper? If so, what are the features
you like or do not like about it? I am referring to qualities such
as size of receiver and transmitter, signaling mode (visual or
touch) etc.

And before anyone mentiones it, the PSI Sharpie is not designed for the purpose and is far from adequate as a professional thumper. It "goes to sleep" after a
time of non use and must be woken up by continuously pressing on the transmitter button for several seconds. This could be disastrous. It is not reliable enough to ensure that there will be instant and sure fire communication. Also, the transmitter is very poorly designed for this purpose (there is no distinct "click"). It is difficult to tell for sure if you have activated it until you see thething moving which you can not do with a thumper

I use an electronic "thumper" of sorts for signalling. I am really not at liberty to say what it is that I use, but I can tell you that the receiver is small, undetectable to spectators and, so far, is completely reliable. The transmitter is smaller than an American half-dollar and the buttons are silent. The device, in my opinion, was severely underpriced for what it is, but the device is no longer in production.

You are referring to 7th Sense are you not?

In any case, I believe that Hocus Pocus have the new one listed.
