If you are not already use an animal balloon, 260's are what I use, Infalte them a little and then try it.
Brett.

Add a pearl or bead to the end of the string... It's how I started 50 years ago. I learned it from a Hindu book. Today a pencil balloon is used (mostly) Blow a small ball on the end to stiffen it, and you can move the ball from end to end. Learn to feel where the small end is in relation to your glottis...

I learned with a long balloon as well. If you choose to do the same, don't forget to lick the balloon before putting it in!

That balloon thing sounds great.

I'd like to thank Todd for using the balloon on TV, so everybody can appreciate it properly.
I don't use it, even though it's one of my favorite presentations of all time. Todd's my friend, and over the years, I've actively avoided using his material.

I think my problem is that it goes up the tear duct because I tear after I try it. Isn't that where it should go when you do blockhead?? How do you keep it from going up there??

It's highly doubtful that yo get it into your tear duct.
Twisted, you're new here, and welcome.! You should understand, though, that most of us are reluctant to teach these skills to people we don't know. Many of them involve potential physical danger, and should only be taught in person. Tell us abouit yourself, and what got you interested in this?

Please do not try to force a nail into your tear duct, it sounds like a trip to the hospital at the least to me.

Todd,
So sorry, didn't mean to step on your toes! if it helps, I don't use your patter, or a white balloon. I would use something else but come on, using a 260 is the best thing I've come across. Brett.

I have always been interested in magic and sideshow skills. It never occured to me that they were weird. To me they were just really cool and I have always wanted to learn it for myself. I am aspiring to be a sideshow performer/contortionist.
