That's right, and these balls would be golf balls. Go to yahoo news and look for the Tiger Woods with Ed Bradley on 60 Minutes doing 'tricks' with a golf ball and a club. Very cool stuff....

Great stuff alright. Tiger Woods did a bit of this on a TV commercial as well. Love watching him do that sort of stuff. Hey it's better than watching 27 holes of golf on TV. I knew a golf pro who not only gave golfing lessons, but for $100/30 min. he'd teach you similar tricks! Go figure.

My links are hidden but if you look for Yahoo!news 60 minutes, then Tiger tricks you should find it. Amazing what you can do with practice.

If you're referring to Tiger Juggling the ball off the club head, then striking the ball in mid-air. Your questions about practice, practice, practice have been answered.
The next question is - how many takes?

In his defense, probably not many at all. And the re-takes were to satisfy other elements of his performance and not bouncing the ball on the club head. I've seen several players bounce it that way over and over again without missing. What knocked me out with Tiger was the last bounce on the club head, ball up in the air, takes a swing and knocks across the moon. Re-takes or not he's the best at it.

I agree 100%. The mid-air strike is fantastic, it explains why he doesn't have my slice!

Kregg, did you see the 60 Minutes piece? From how easily he did it when asked about it I don't think he needed more than a couple minutes to get the shot. I've not seen the commercial in question but I've been to hockey games and base ball games where players bounced pucks/balls of their stick/bat.

Did you see the other video where he could hit the moving cameraman? Cool but cruel... *devilish laugh*
