This is a grat case. I sell them at 10% off and free shipping.
Can't beat that. Great wheels, locks up, perfect height. Very durable. http://www.theambitiouscard.com/mSearchR......GO=GO%21 Also, my poacher's pouch makes a perfect table servante which is a recent discovery of mine and I've used it that way ever since. I still wear one but I now use a second one on the table. Here's a link to a few photos. http://www.theambitiouscard.com/img/proTableCollage.jpg

I must concur. Without a doubt it's the best suitcase table on the market. I own the smaller of the two, and I'm amazed by how much it holds.I know Joe, and I know his work . He always puts out quality products.

Totally killer table. As far as I am concerned the most important thing to the working magician is his table. When I got my first one, made by Stan Allen's workshop years ago, it changed my life performance wise. My set up time went from a nightmarish 30 minutes to 2 minutes. NO take down time! Stuff went in as used, closed the case at end, got check and boogied.
Can't recommend strongly enough that if you are serious about making money doing shows that you get a good suitcase table and that you build your entire act INTO the table and the pockets of your coat if you wear one. The lefler unit is superb. Best,
Brad Burt

I have a Pro Joe Lefler table (large). I like it but the hasps keeps falling off. It is a bummer to pay good money and then have the hardware not work.
Do any of you guys know where I can get a table that is a briefcase sitting on a stand? Ray |

That idea seems ok if you're not using the briefcase as a tabletop and everything fits inside it. that would never work for me. you could probably buy a cheap briefcase off ebay and make one yourself and see how you like it.

Ray, check with Encore Magic located in Flint, Michigan. I know he does make these and they are very good. His website address is http://www.encoremagic.com
I hope this helps. The owners name is Chris Reeseman and he also is the owner of Rings-N-Things 1.

The table seems a bit short; 22" and 24". Am I missing something?

I love my Lefler table. I have the smaller of the two. Several years ago, I got a wood suitcase table...looked real nice, but has gotten dings from real world use. Also, the "footprint" of the Lefler table is smaller (you'll notice this when you put tables in your car), the Lefler table full was lighter weight than the wood table was empty, and the Lefler table holds more. Nuff said.

I've come up with a lefler table alternative for when I really don't want the weight.
This includes a restaurant tray stand, one of my poacher's pouches as a table servante hooked to the tray stand in a very easy fashion, one of my table tops, for the performing surface, and that's it. To hold the props, I'm trying out a "craft carrier" on wheels, kind of like a pilot's case on wheels except cheaper. I'll take some photos. This is much lighter weight, and very easy to carry. Where weight is an issue this will be nice. I'm probably going to add some cheap black velvet drape over the restaurant stand. pix forthcoming.

Just wanted to mention that I took Frank up on his open offer here of free shipping on a Lefler table, and I received it in good condition in about a week from time of order. It definitely met my expectations. Thanks Frank!

I just recently got one for my kids shows. I had some major concerns with it at first though when I saw it. One problem is the hardware. The hasps are pretty cheap and didn't even match so I replaced them with some tough Stanley ones with a pair of nice locks.
The other problem is that the inside is painted black, definitely a challenge if you're ever working on a stage. So I had to paint the inside a flat white. It's looking good now though so I'm sure I'll put it to good use! |

RIP Joe; he recently passed away.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

I've been using a Joe lefler style pro suitcase table for well over 10 years now. I purchased it from a fellow magician who had a smaller version of the larger model I bought . My table also contains a rollout and in drawer, which can be used to carry smaller props, pens, markers, wands, decks of cards, jumbo decks, canes as well as candles, etc. I use it for everyshow. I just recently changed the small wheels on the suitcase table for bigger sturdier ones.,once in a while the grey carpet needs to be glued back here and there. all in all it is probably one of the best suitcase tables around. I will try to post a couple of photos of the table and its extra feature the drawer maybe some of you might like to add this to you existing table.
