From sentient planets to a world of automata, he gave us wonders.

He left us yesterday.

Farewell
...to all the coins I've dropped here

I've read The Cyberiad. It took me months.

I read one page, and laughed for the rest of the day. And then I enjoyed thinking about it for all of the next day.

One day laughing, one day thinking. As most good things go.

And, as most good things go, so Stanislaw Lem has gone.

And his robots sit quietly.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy;
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I've a many curious things to show when you are there.

Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair
-can ne'er come down again.
