Your Illusion sounds great, Curtis. When the head is removed, will you be showing the head box opened?

As far as the part of the head mover you wish to use goes, I too would also contact Andre Kole. Even if he is not the propriety owner of that aspect, it wouldn't hurt to clear it with him. You never know... in striking up a relationship with him, maybe in the future you could be one of the magicians with exclusive Kole methods.

At this point in time I believe only David Copperfield and Tim Kole have the permission to present the illusion.

Kirby VanBurch also obtained rights and a prop several years ago.

So Kole did perform it then, along with Hans Klok. Thanks for clearing that up then.

I remember the late John Ritter leaning on top of the Z-table over the headless body por a publicity shot of the show. World Greatest Magic that is.

I saw the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast when it came to Mexico City about 5 or 6 years ago, and they did use the effect for the teacup.

Didn´t Penn and Teller use to do a similar routine? Maybe it was another illusion altogether, but I remember them with something similar.

I might be wrong, but this illusion, as far as I know, is not designed by Jim S., it is Andre Koles illusion and like with most of his work, this one is also not available.

You are correct, Face. The Head Mover is in fact a Kole Invention, BUT the box/table that certain performers put the head on is Steinmeyer's. Isn't it great when two great minds have their hand in such an awesome effect.
