I am doing a large production from a drawer box. I will start with several solid color 36-inch silks. Follow that with a Rice or P&A 36" butterfly silk. This is followed by 6" by 30' streamer. As each item is produced, it will be placed on empty tabletop (leads up to dove production). I was thinking of finishing silk production with a Rice "Applause Please" silk.

O.K. The question is: Can I pull several "design silks" out w/out it being redundant? I have two 36" butterfly silks, One 36" Rabbit In Hat silk and the aforementioned Applause silk. I also can add a string of a dozen diamond silks of various colors. At what point does it become redundant?

At this point I am planning on producing, in order, three solid color 36" silks individually, One 36" Butterfly, The 30'foot streamer, and finishing with the Applause Please silk. Hopefully while applause is going I will be able to naturally pick up all the silks I produced from the table. Once the applause fades, (I am optimistic, aren’t I?) I will walk to the front of the stage holding bundle of silks and produce a Dove.

Please give me feedback on what you think of routine and any thoughts on whether or not to add additional silks.

Thanks to all,

P.S. This is the first time I am producing a dove, under fire, from anything other than a box. This is a big advancement for me and I am hoping it goes well. Wish me luck and pray the dove does not decide to take off. Special thanks to Dave Scribner for the dove.

Redundant? Of course not. You're a magician, you're expected to pull "rags" out of a container. The more, the merrier!
