Ok last night I saw Jeff McBride and Eugene Burgers show in Falmouth (UK) and Eugene done an amazing trick in which he had to pieces of tissue paper he tore them in three and the scrunched them into a ball he then un scrunched the ball and it was a hat he done this again for a spectator and he let her keep the hat. I was wondering if this can be found on any of his DVD's.
Thanks, Lukas

Tissue to hat is an old kid show staple. I don't know how old it truly is but I saw it performed in the 1950's so I guess it is way older than that. Honestly I doubt if you will find this bit on any of Burgers DVD's. You might find it listed on some of the kid show oriented DVD's. Or just spend $10.00 and buy it all made up from your any magic dealer. It comes in several forms. Tissue to hat, tissue to Mickey Mouse hat with ears, tissue to boxer shorts, tissue to peaked cap, tissue to...you get the idea. It is inexpensive and readily available.
Burger is a genius at taking old stuff and breathing new life into it.

Randy, I won't do a kids party without a tissue to hat! I have some parents book me with the condition that the tissue to hat be included in that show! Go figure!

I make my own. It is not difficult to do.
Back when I was buying them I had a number of reliable sources. Ickle Pickle and Bob Little both were good suppliers (I bought them by the gross). I know that most major magic shops can get them for you. Morrissey Magic is a good reliable source for them. Check out: http://www.morrisseymagic.com/stage10.htm

Dear Harry: I believe the hat tear was the invention of the old time British performer Cecil Lyle (about whom a book has been recently published). Best regards, Levent

You can get the hat tears at http://www.stoners.com just type in paper tears and watch the video. They sell them by the dozen, and being you are UK the postage will be very high.
