Hi Richard,
Is the escape done in full view of the audience? Lou |

Just to let you know that I created a 'cage in water tank' escape /transpo some years ago.
I created this for the French illusionist Dani Lary.(He started using this 2 years ago) I'm sure that you never saw this, but I like to mention this so you know... |

Hello El Rafael
I pre-date you by more then 2 decades. I built this when I lived in Toronto in 1979. I performed it twice and sold it to a local. We buried him the next week. LOL I decided to try it again and here it is. Besides all that did your customer get a good audience reaction??? Hello Lou How are you?? You practically live down the street from me. Once Dayle is locked in she is visible for about 30 seconds then the screen goes up. Richard |

I noticed what would be considered a minor "continuity error" on the page. In the main picture, she has her manacled hands outside the cage, in fact they are around the bars. But, obviously, they must be inside the cage when it is lowered. It probably looks better the other way, but I have a nit-picky streak occasionally. Good site otherwise!

It's interesting that you should mention that! We actually took the first picture (with the cuffs outside the cage) as a promo shot to show the shackles better.
The latter four pictures were more performance shots that were done at a later time. I can see how they all seem to be part of the same progression though. We appreciate your comments. Thank you! Cheers Dayle

Oh, gotta ask, Why the sunglasses Really bright underwater there?
|
Richard Sherry Veteran user Calgary, AB, Canada 313 Posts |
I know!!!! It's a blindfold but it came out looking like sunglasses.I told Dayle we should have used the leather hood but she thought it would look too kinky!!!!
|

No comments on the "kinky" to protect the guilty here :-D !
But, why the blindfold? Do you set it up as a she is forcibly bound and put in the cage? |

Hey MCM. The idea of the blindfold is to remove my ability to see when to take my last breath. The only gauge I have is feeling the water level in relation to my body. If I don't gauge that right, I may not get a solid last breath before going under water. It adds a 'ready or not' aspect to the performance.
I suppose it can add a few other thoughts in some audience members minds but hey, a little something for everyone I guess! Cheers Dayle
