I recently put up a review of the previous book written by Richard Bartram and this is the next book.to start off I just want to say this book is filled with great effects and humor.this book just as one-of-a-kind as Mystifactaion before it,with a story that has the creator of a majority of the effects were created by a mental patient falsly accused.the effects are almost all original and span from a folded card that changes into a selection to a gimmick to let you light flatulance.like in Mystification ive seen some effects with gimmicks stolen and sold without proper credit given.in the end I think this book was not only full of magic but fun to read when you need something beside magic to read.i concluded that Trephine was worth each and every penny!
