Fellow Café'friends,
I am a bus driver for the Walt Disney Company in Orlando and I currently do 2 quick items for the children that ride my busses. I do a trick I put together called the Disney Mind Reading Cards and it has 15 Disney characters on the cards and based on what they say I tell them their character. I also do the trick from Michael Ammar with a z-fold wallet to make stickers appear. I am looking for a few new ideas for additional items. I also love being able to make up things without having to spend a lot of money as I do not make a lot since Disney has a history of not paying very well. Don't get me wrong, I would do the same if I were in charge, however I still and starving at times for money. Your ideas and help is greatly appreciated. John Crosby |

At what point in the bus ride do you the driver actually perform these tricks?

Blow bubbles and catch a clear marble. Very visual and crosses all languge barriers.

John,
Check out a trick called Animental. It gets up to four people involved and they don't even have to get out of their bus seat! Once you get it and learn the method, you could easily make up your own using Disney characters. See it at: http://www.elmwoodmagic.com/?nd=full&key=54 Lyndel |

Pulling a 5 foot ribbon out of an ear/shoe/sock (via TT) ALWAYS plays well with kids and adults - and it is cheap.
BTW How come you weren't our bus driver last Oct??? *G* I was doing magic for the kids to keep them amused durring the longer rides. If you want, PM me. Way back when I was a School Bus Driver I used to do tricks for the kids all the time. |

Steve, That is a trick I have and will also do. Thanks.
Lyndel, Great idea, I have that trick and will adjust it. Gumby, I do tricks before they board my bus and at the end of the trips as well as when I am doing crowd control at the end of the nights. MrMystic, I actually have the bubble trick and never thought of it either. I guess I need to look at all of my arsenal of effects again. You guys are GREAT. THANKS and keep the ideas coming. |
