Our Induction meeting of the Chazz Treasure Valley Ring 364 was a huge success.

As we shared our vision for the Ring and the life values that magic had to offer, we stirred the emotions of 5 of our guests to apply for new memberships.

Cecelia Rupp (Territorial Vice President) performed a wonderful Induction Ceremony as we each passed the flame. It was kind of an Olympic moment.

And as promised, we had lots of food, magic and fun.

You really missed out on a good time if you could not attend. But you're more than welcome to join us for any of our future meetings. Anytime you're in Idaho on the first Monday of the month, drop into The Funny Bone Comedy Club and have a good time with us.

Chazz Treasure Valley 364 Ring is putting on our first ever, club performance for the public. This will be held on Monday, August 28 at The Funny Bone Comedy Club in Boise, Idaho. Doors open at 6:00 pm with close up magic being performed at the tables until 7:00 pm when we start the stage and parlor magic for an additional 2 hours. Tickets are just $5.00 for 3 hours of magic.

We are modeling the show after what comedians call "open mike night". Nobody is going to be the headliner so everyone will perform on an equal playing field. The event will have an MC between acts. If a new magician only has one effect then they can take the stage for 3-5 minutes, if they have a whole routine then they can use up to 20 minutes.

We are billing it as "The Boise Magic Review - See Tomorrows Stars Today". The Funny Bone has offered us 80% of the door and we are using this as a fund raiser for the club. The seating capacity is just over 200 so if we pack the house our club could stand to make about $800. Even if it does not serve well as a fund raiser it will definately be a mile stone for our club. For many of the acts that have already signed up, this will be their first public performance. They'll never forget that.
